Michael Rosen is a producer and director in television, documentaries, and digital content. He’s known for unique, compelling, uncompromising stories, and he has a personal reputation for quality, excellence, and integrity.

Michael produced or directed projects for Bravo, IFC, USA Films (Focus Features), truTV, Republic Pictures, TV Land, Apple, and others. He worked in development or production at The Walt Disney Studios, Touchstone Pictures, and Imagine Entertainment.

His most recent executive produced feature length documentaries are BREACH (Amazon, Hulu), by director Jonny Zwick, the story of Iceland’s illegal whale hunting. And WIND RIDERS, by director Emi Katayama, about the dangerous sport of competitive ballooning.

Michael’s producer credits include the feature documentary WHEN I RISE (PBS), about opera star Barbara Smith Conrad’s extraordinary story of overcoming social injustice; and the feature documentary MURDER BY PROXY (The Documentary Channel), on how spree killings are affecting our society. He was the director and producer of a television special BEYOND THE EXPEDITION (National Geographic Channel), and he was a producer on the feature RUNNING THE SAHARA (limited theatrical, Showtime), executive produced by Matt Damon. Both projects documented the attempt by three ultra-marathoners to run across the continent of Africa, non-stop, for more than 100 days.

In digital, Michael has been at the forefront. With Matt Damon, he filmed throughout India and Haiti and helped create a record breaking online campaign for Water.org, the non-profit founded by Gary White and Matt Damon. The award-winning series used comedy as a tool to highlight the water crisis.

Michael launched and ran the first ever digital production division of the TELEVISION ACADEMY (home of the Emmy Awards), producing projects for NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, MobiTV, United Airlines, AOL Television, and others. As Executive in Charge of Production, he developed, produced, and delivered over 30 digital projects annually to promote, brand, and market the Television Academy and Primetime Emmy Awards.

He co-founded the Television Academy Foundation's ARCHIVE OF AMERICAN TELEVISION with Tom Sarnoff, Dean Valentine, Grant Tinker, and David Wolper. As Executive Producer, he developed, launched, and ran the world’s largest online digital resource on the history of television, producing and directing over 2,000 hours of unedited video interviews with over 500 television legends.

Michael began his career working for producers Jon Peters (“Superman Returns” “Rain Man”) and Lauren Shuler-Donner (“X-Men” franchise, “Ladyhawke”).

Michael attended UCLA Film & Television School. He is the recipient of five Telly Awards, The Fund's Social Justice Award, the CINE Gold Eagle, and many film festival awards.


Genette's background is in the corporate arena. She's led global change management projects impacting hundreds of thousands of employees in the world's largest corporations. Her recognition affirms her reputation:

Prior to joining August Road in 2014, Genette wrote or produced innumerable film and video projects as an Executive Consultant to Fortune 50 corporations in the U.S. and Europe. Her client list includes many of the world's finest companies: AT&T, Motorola, Bayer, Ford Motor, Allstate Insurance, Bell Systems, Abbott Labs, Ameritech, Bristol-Myers, General Motors, McKesson ... and many more.

As a humanitarian committed to social equity and diversity, Genette stepped out of the corporate world for four years to become CEO of HomeAid, America's largest provider of housing for the temporarily homeless. With a housing portfolio exceeding $100 million and an annual budget of $15 million, Genette was instrumental in expanding operations and bringing national recognition to the organization, including White House recognition for work in New Orleans following Katrina. In acknowledgment of her accomplishments, and after being in the industry for only two years, Builder Magazine recognized Genette as one of the fifty most influential people in the building industry.

Genette’s humanitarian work includes establishing and funding a foundation on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, South Dakota, which received recognition from the United Nations Centre for Human Rights. She has developed scholarship programs to teach compassionate, heroic behavior; and she has advised numerous US non-profits such as the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, the American Institute for Managing Diversity, and Kevin Costner's Tig Foundation.

Some of Ramin Fathie’s credits include CAFÉ DIGITAL (Discovery Channel), DECORATING CENTS (HGTV), 10 DAYS THAT CHANGED AMERICA (History Channel), and A&E BIOGRAPHY (A&E) where, in field production, he produced multiple episodes that were filmed throughout the country.

Ramin co-produced THE SKY BELOW, an award winning documentary film by Sarah Singh about the devastating partition of post-war India and Pakistan; PERSONA NON GRATA, a documentary about the subculture of celebrity impersonators in Las Vegas; BLIND BOWLING, a documentary on NY’s nationally acclaimed blind bowling team; and VISIONS OF MUSTANG, a documentary exploring unique medical treatments in Tibet.

Ramin was the East Coast cinematographer for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Foundation’s ARCHIVE OF AMERICAN TELEVISION, Executive Produced by Michael Rosen. He filmed over 200 extensive historical interviews with television’s most notable luminaries (Walter Cronkite, Mike Wallace, Mary Tyler Moore, Sidney Lumet, Don Hewitt, Ted Turner, David Brinkley, and Dan Rather).

Early work as a cinematographer included Steven Spielberg’s SURVIVORS OF THE SHOAH VISUAL HISTORY FOUNDATION, documenting over 500 interviews in the New York area.

Ramin has also worked with CBS, Pace Advertising, WNET, CBC, MTV, USA Films and many other nonprofit organizations.

Ramin graduated form UC Berkeley with a B.A. in cultural Anthropology (elected Phi Beta Kappa). As one of 50 US Jacob Javits Fellows he pursued an MFA at UCLA’s School of Film and Television.
